YES I'M A NEWBIE TO CE I'M having a problem with my Jornada 820, I know the modem is dialing out all right (dialed my cell phone) but when I dial in to an ISP I get the handshaking sound but can't connect. I have Road Runner high speed and they offer dial up also. I can connect to RR with my laptop fine (had to install there software, which is not available for CE) but not the Jornada.I found out something intresting AOL, Time Warner Road Runner and Netscape all use the same dial up access numbers. My son has a Netscape account and I get the same thing there Dials out fine but will not let me log on.I tried every single access number. Is there a .dll or something or a workaround out there. Lastly if you can connect through your dial-up was there some software you first had to install, and what ISP do you use???
