I recently installed pjava on my Aero because I read that there might be a java-based browser or two that would work on sh4 devices, and I happened to find IceStorm last night on a Yahoo sh4 group site. I copied the IceStorm files to the Aero and folllowed the instruction to copy all "jar" files to the java/lib directory. There were 3 jar files:
- ExpandtoDiskJar
- JDGLUE
- LAX

I then did Start-Run and typed in the following, as per the instructions:

"\program files\java\bin\pjava.exe" -ms6M -classpath "\program files\java\lib\ib5core.jar;\program files\java\lib\ib5util.jar;\program files\java\lib\ib5ref.jar;\program files\java\lib\ib5js.jar" ice.browser.Main -w640 -h455

I then received this Java error message: Cannot find class "ice/browser/Main"

I admit to knowing next to nothing about java, so I really have no idea how to proceed from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Monica, do you have any thoughts on the java error message?

I've been trying to locate the Espial Escape browser, but no luck so far. Espial doesn't sell it anymore, and they haven't responded to two e-mails from me asking to purchase it from them. Guess they don't need my money. I haven't found it on any other sites.

I'll go through the java stuff in more detail and see if I can figure it out.....at least I'm not the only one who's new to it.

I don't believe that for a minute.

PDXMark: i don't think it (espial) is worth a purchase but would be fun to have it.

CE Geek: well the only thing i really ever used with these pda java's was the ibm irc client that needed a pretty long command to run it with pjava. my first contribution to the hpc community in 2005
