My employer has given me a Novatel Wireless Merlin NRM-U530 NetConnect Card that he no longer uses, however when I try to use it in my Hewlett Packard Jornada 820, my device asks for a driver...

I have sent Novatel Wireless an e-mail regarding this and I am currently waiting on a reply, however I was wondering if any of you would know of a driver that works for my device, or an alternate way in which I can get this wireless broadband card to work in my Jornada 820?

So there's no chance at all that I can get it working (short of writing my own driver)?

It´s a 16bit card. Maybe you could get it to work with some AT commands
I´ve got an U630 which is running fine with my Netbook Pro (drivers are inbuilt)

It was working out of the box! Just plug it in and the WWAN app will pop up asking for the SIM password

It´s called Wireless WAN.
You can find it under Start - Settings - Control Panel.
It´s the little blue "earth"
