| I'm using a plain-jane MP780 with a 3Com 3c589C (and a 3c589D-TP as a spare) for my Ethernet connections. It sees the card, asks the driver name, and I give it 3c589.dll. After that, nothing. I've given it a static IP, let it use DHCP - nothing works. Anyone have any ideas or anything? I'm stumped. | |

There is something strange with this adapter and CE 2.11. It causes different people different problems.
Generally you need to remove the card, install the PCMCIA.dll update for the device, soft reset and then try again. (It is bundled in the 780 Updates Patch). | |
