| Again a newbie question Does WMP also play video and if so what format. Is there a small program for CE2.11 that plays MP3's and Video other then WMP ? I won't need something with all the Bells and Whistles just a plain player I find the video I've seen in 256 65 K is not the kind I'm use to seeing say on a laptop Etc. Thanks in advance from a Newbie. |

| Search the forums!
Well WMP cannot play video, but there are the likes of BetaPlayer and PocketDivX, not sure if they would work on your system though.

| the best all around player i've seen for hpc pro (ce 2.11 ) is the Pocket MVP, it plays sevral types of audio and video, but if you want to play WMA's your out of luck...only the windows media player for handheld pc will do that....and nothing for hpc pro will allow you to play WMV's atleast to what i've seen... any way here's a link to the MVP if you want to give that a go......Crow

| There is a beta WMx Codec for BetaPlayer, it is somewhat unstable and I have never tried it under H/PC Pro (not even sure there are bins for Pro).
I would go with BetaPlayer, it is the recommended H/PC viewer when using PocketDVD. |

| The 420 is a Palm-Size PC, 1.2 is for the H/PC. You want the PSPC 1.1 release:

| Microsoft Pocket Office does not exist for the PsPC, you will need to look at third party applications. Pocket IE doesn't exist either. You need to find iBrowser or ConduitsBrowser
Just to note, We will of course try and assist you with PsPC questions if we possibly can, however we are a Handheld PC site, and have little to no specific knowledge on this site or boards of the PsPC... in saying that I do apprecaite that there is no where else for PsPC users to go. |

| CE is just the core OS, while PsPC and HPC are platforms. if you think of CE as in H/PC platform, yes, it exists. but if you think in CE as in PsPC platform, nope, it didn't exist
Hope this helps |
