MyGuide 3100 Copying Windows files

Guys

I would really appreciate some help/advise

I recently purchased two MyGuide GPS devices, purely because you are able to get to Windows CE 5.0 and therefore are able to watch movies etc.

On the one unit ceplayer.exe was installed (Win Media 9) and therefore I can play mp3 perfectly. However on the later model ceplayer.exe was not included.

I can't seem to copy the windows files using ActiveSync ...

I then tried XMP3 which was an MP3 player shipped with the earlier model, but it seems to be dependant on some files in the OS (which are not present)

I then tried to install TCPMP on the unit without ceplayer - It installed fine but when I invoke it I see nothing on the screen and each time I tap the screen I see an hourglass

1) Can anyone point me in the direction of moving/copying Windows files
2) and/or help me with this error in tcpmp
3) and/or help me with XMP3, or how to work out which dependencies are missing
4) and/or point me in the direction of a simple/free mp3 player that is not dependant on any o/s files
