I not sure it helps but did activesync 4 not remove the ability to sync over a network???

Now this is just theory but if it can sync over a network then it will just be an IP address (even better if your home ADSL is static). It might need you to find out what port activesync uses and forward that in your router so the incoming request is forwarded to your PC...

I will have a little look at home and see how/if this works on CE .net and hopefully it will at least give you a clue.

Apparently the ports 4.1 uses are

Port number: 990
Direction: Inbound
Type: TCP

Description: Remote API (RA)PI
Port number: 999
Direction: Inbound

Type: TCP
Description: Status
Port number: 5678

Direction: Inbound
Type: TCP
Description: Legacy Replication

Port number: 5679
Direction: Outbound
Type: UDP

Description: Legacy Replication
Port number: 5721
Direction: Inbound

Type: TCP
Description: Desktop Passthrough (DTPT)
Port number: 26675

Direction: Inbound
Type: TCP
Description: AirSync

Can you sync over a network internally (ie over wi-fi on your own AP?) If yes than forward the reports and use your external IP on the activesync utility built into the PDA...

You will need to set up a partnership before you can use the inbuilt activesync utility for PDA to initiate it.

Again just theory at moment and I don't have WM5 but again hopefully this pointing you in the correct direction.

Is there a way to set up an activesync partnership manually (My computer doesn't recognize my 900c when I plug the usb cable or IR. I've tried most of the tricks.)

I have used the older version of PDA using PCMCIA dialing in using ordinary telephone with no problem.

Is MS Mobile 5.0 do not allow this anymore ? Because ActiveSync only have setting for USB, IR.

I have try setting up connection by using setting -> connection -> connections -> my work network same setting as the older version of PDA. My windows XP i have setup incoming connection with same setting as what i did last time.

The dialing in using celular is connected, but activeSync doesnot work.

Please help
