it's been suggested that to reach a "dial up isp" to make the connection thru dial up networking instead of hp dial up sounds good a newbie..... question when setting up the dial up networking i keep getting this dial string t0119353501 for a local number i'm looking for just 9353501 i tried force local help without sucess .i know the modem is working fine i fax in a lunch order for a test.
yeah. hp dialup just sucks. you absolutely shouldn't use it!
about the dial string: go into dialing properties then dialing patterns and edit the three lines to G, G and G... it should sort it out.
