dhcp?

O.K. I've read all the threads, been to every site I can find so no," look it up dummy" cracks please.

I've tried both my Ambicom and ZONET CF lan cards, both before and after upgrading the ROM on my mp780.

I cannot get the thing use dhcp, no way no how.

Pro'lly done 50 hard resets ands reinstalls to no avail.

Any ideas, I'm open to try anything, even small animal sacrifices ( if it'll help.

I can't stand it, failure is not an option, yet.

what's the error message you get?

"unable to obtain IP address"
When I try to uninstall the wifi card utility I get the"win dhcp.dll is in use or in Rom" popup.
When installing I get " the replace or use" the above driver box, I 've tried it both ways.

It really sucks to wow folks with all the neat things I can do with the HPC, then having to yank out a PPC to check for mail.

The only H/PC platform which replaces the dhcp.dll file is Windows CE 2.00, so you could well be installing a 2.00 driver, OR a Palm-Size PC driver.

Its entirely possible, the driver disk that came with the card has about 10 sets of drivers.

I'll go back and check all the ce and hpc listings again.
