Check this product WebBrowserCE (Active X) by IntelliProg, Inc.

http://www.handango.com/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?productType=2&jid=4D179C6CA8BD694F7C4B369E814BAX3D&platformId=2&siteId=1&productId=20502§ionId=0&catalog=1&authorId=54849&pc=list%5B6%5D_title

Seems to be compatible with Pocket PC 2000, but it might help at least for H/PC 2000... $30 per 10 license, $3/ per license, not bad.. but I'm too broke lol.

I'd do the same thing.

The problem I have with the trial is that I can't seem to get the sample working right. I got the dll registered, but somehow when I test it on the real device and emulation, it says "File Not Found" or Unable to create...

I would gladly finance the whole sum but I don't think it is worth trying. The date of the code is October 2001. So, pretty out of date. I am quite sure it would not solve my problems with the browser: more advanced Java support and especially private certificates import
