It works for me. As I understood the philosophy of connecting a GPS card or receiver, any Bluetooth GPS shall work. If your BT card supports the serial port mode!

Greetings,

These worked for me.

HPC hardware: MP780
HPC O/S: HPC/PRO
GPS h/w manufacturer: XAiOX
GPS h/w model number: Mobile Crossing BC-307 Compact Flash
GPS h/w driver: No need for drivers. COM port.
GPS/map software: Garmap
Map data source: Delorme Street Atlas 2004

HPC hardware: MP880
HPC O/S: HPC/PRO
GPS h/w manufacturer: XAiOX
GPS h/w model number: Holux GM270 Compact Flash
GPS h/w driver: No need for drivers. COM port.
GPS/map software: Garmap
Map data source: Delorme Street Atlas 2004

Both receivers work interchangeably with the two HPCs. The Holux appears to acquire a lock faster when outdoors, but the Mobile Crossing, though slower, seems to be able to get a more consistent lock when there are obstructions. MC also came with plug-in external antenna.

HPC hardware: HP Jornada 720
HPC O/S: HPC2000
GPS h/w manufacturer: Pharos
GPS h/w model number: iGPS-360 receiver with CF adapter
GPS h/w driver: None, select COM port 2
GPS/map software: Microsoft Pocket Streets 2005
Map data source: Microsoft Streets and Trips 2005

NOTE: You must install the PPC-hacked DLLs in the path of Streets and Trips or Windows and select COM port 2 in the GPS configuration menu. Since it's supposedly a PPC application, I had to use the ESC key to exit out of menu items or ENTER to select a menu item because the OK button was not visible. Works great with Nyditot Virtual Display!
