I'm trying to get a Linksys NP100 ethernet card working with my NEC 780, but I'm not having any luck. The computer just freezes when I insert the card. I assume this card will work, but I may be wrong. Does anyone have any thoughts on this card? If it's not compatible, what card should I find that will work with the native drivers that comes loaded on the 780?
TIA,
Mark

Do you mean NC100, I cannot find a NP100.

Either way, have a look through the HCL in Hardware (top navigation) for compatible cards.

You need a NE2000 adapter if you don't want to install htird party drivers.

The NP100 is an old pcmcia 16 bit wifi card, but there were never any CE drivers for it that I know of..only Win95 and NT versions..

You might experiment with the Compaq WL-100 drivers or the WPC-11 drivers and see what happens if anything.

I've got one as well. They are marked as, "NETWORK EVERYWHERE" cards.
If you try the card it acts just like a card bus ,"lock up".
