Hi, Folks,

What are the chances of this working with a 720? PPC 2002 drivers are available, but are they enough?

http://ambicom.com/products/multimed/fm-cf-feat.html

These things are beau-coupe cheap on Amazon.com.

I was looking at your site, which gave me the idea to search around. Do you think the drivers for the ProLink are compatible?

Hi Jake did you manage to get your Ambicom FM Radio Compact Flash Card to work on your Handheld PC? I have a Jornada 720 and was considering purchasing one.

Thanks

Craig

I have an iBIZ pocket RADIO (the caps are how they spell it) that I originally got for my Pocket PC. It has a Pocket PC 2000 version as well as a Pocket PC 2002 one on the driver disk. I installed the Pocket PC 2000 version on my MP790, and it works fine. (Only issue is that the interface, not surprisingly, is taller than the 640x240 screen, so I'm using WinWatch to move the interface up and down in case I need to access screen buttons on the bottom.) The pocket RADIO card looks identical to those above. See this site:

http://ibizpda.com/products/specialties/specialties_index.htm

I even got the SDIO version (for my Palm m500) for $10 from iBIZ on eBay earlier this year.

Hi Jake, do you have the Ambicom driver you are referring to the hyperlink is dead. I am playing around with a couple of comapct flash radio cards at present but am having difficulty getting drivers to work. I would appreciate it if you could email me the amicom driver.

Many thanks

Craig

Hi, Craig,

No, I'm sorry--I never downloaded those drivers. Since I couldn't find anyone who tried out the Ambicom, I gave up and didn't buy the card.

In fact, I apologize for not responding to your December post, which I just see now. With the new email notifications, that won't happen again.

Sorry I can't be more help, but best of luck and do post if you can create FM radio on your J.

Jake
