| Argh! The keyboard on my Jornada 680e has failed- or at least portrays all the symptons of failure.
It doesnt respond to key presses, except when trying to turn on (power button), in which case it goes on for about 2 seconds then shutsdown. I can make it run by doing a hard reset and navigating with the stylus, but you can sympathise that this isnt the point of the Jornada.
Is there anything I can do?
Or should I return it to Mr. Ebay?

| If you have a T6 screwdriver it'll probably be worth opening it up - couple of screws and the keyboard lifts off. Then check the connections. | |

The battery wasnt in correctly- but why didnt it start of using the keyboard, and did with a hard reset? How strange.
