| EUREKA!!!
I took one more shot, grabbed a cheap ($21), used pc wifi card off Ebay. AVAYA brand, says Lucent on the back, 5 volt model, keep the A.C. plugged in!
5 minute install, no problems at all. Just drag the Mips cab over to the CF card, click install, soft reset and put in the WEP #.
This is in my 790 Rom'd 780.
The install disk also had ORINOCO drivers?!?!?!?!
Another model for the list?

| Not a lot, as it was used, I'm afraid.
On the front;
AVAYA WIRELESS
WORLD CARD 11mb/s Silver
On the back;
AVAYA
T/N 21P35626 P/N 016064/B
ENCRYTION: WEP
LUCENT TECHNOLOGIES PC24E-H-FC

I have about a dozen nieghbors that are not running encrytion. I took a little walk this morning and had no problems connecting to any of them, just click the scan button, in the interface, and click on the desired ssid. IP addy release/renew without a restart or reset.
The driver for the 780 is; WLLUC46.DLL
