Hello,I just got a Netbook Pro off of ebay.Hard reset brings up the Netbook Pro splash screen and a status bar suggesting Os is being loaded.
When the status bar ends the machine just shuts off again and once again cannot be restarted by opening or (esc) Key.
Please advise in detail.

| you should reflash the OS. psion-teklogix's site has the latest one. |

| HI,thanks for your reply
But there is some trouble in the step of reflashing os.
First,I download the os files from Psion,then trying to reflash os step by step.What a pity is NBP still cann't get reflash work. just shut down.and the light near to the battery light still red light.
What's wrong with it? Did anyone faced this kind of problem?
Still need your advise. |

I have the same problem with my Netbook Pro it will not accept the OS. I also have the same problem with the red light showing on the front.
Cmonex did you send some additional information to mying99 ?
I am desperate to try and get the NB Pro up and running again. |

| Solution steps:
1. downloads backup battery
2. download the main battery and power source at all
3. use paper clip pokes reset hole
4. simultaneously to hold down the ctrl+D+esc key, adds the main battery or the power source, until entered Boost contact surface
5. press shift+1 key
Everything will be fine, and enjoy your NBP!

| Reflash steps:
1. downloads backup battery
2. download the main battery and power source at all
3. use paper clip pokes reset hole
4. simultaneously to hold down the ctrl+D+esc key, adds the main battery or the power source, until entered Boost contact surface
5.insert the card loaded the Rom from Psion(The card must be formated bu Fat 16 or Fat 12)
Waiting until NBP star up,reflashing success.
