Hallo,
I am new on the site...and I am writing because of some problem om my Jornada 680e.

I am trying to use it with a wireless card Netagear MA401 but without result. I have followed support about installing Netagear MA401 but it doesn't work and I don't know why.

If a try to install WinCE 3.0 driver card isn't recognized instead with WinCE 2.1 driver the card is recognized and led start flashing but the card doesn't connect on any lan.

I read that this card works with intersil driver so I ask for help to let me my card work on Jornada 680e.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

I did soft reset but nothing has changed...could you possibly show the procedure to install this card?

The driver is the one I have downloaded from this site.

MA401 has 3 revisions. Rev.D (FCC ID: PY3MA401RD) uses Prims3 and may present problems under CE. I once had problems with ONE MA401 (I believe it's Rev.D) and several WPC11 v3 though I had success with a lot of MA401 and WPC11 v3 cards. I now only keep ONE WPC11 v.3 that works well under JLime.

So if it would be the case of Rev D card you suggest to buy another because there's no success in trying?

So, your card's FCC ID is PD5LMWP200. It uses Prism2.5. Rev.B. You may want to test it under Windows 98SE, 2000, or XP to make sure it works.

Problem worked out...Netgear MA401 does not support WPA encryption so I had tu turn it off and now it works. Tomorrow I am gonna try with WEP.

Somehow, but maybe it not depends on Netgear, Explorer doesn't connect on lots of sites, doesn't show images regardless option in on and on links sometimes give me error when I click on and even google doesn't perform serch. Some clues about that?

A lot of this is just the limitations of Pocket Internet Explorer 3. Installing the 128-bit SSL update may help some:

It's about halfway down the page.

I have installed 128-bit ssl update but nothing has changed and still no images and no search on google. Is there any way to work it out? Does Jornada 720 has also such problem?

The 720's PIE 4 definitely has fewer problems than the 680's PIE 3, though PIE 4 is far from perfect itself.

OK...but just let me get it straight...e.g. I won't be able to logon in this site because I have been asked for verification code that it is not displayed....and won't be able to perform search on google because it always say "not found". If it is so I am consider to get Jornada 720 although PIE 4 is not perfect but at least I can perform some web browsing. Thanks for help.

You may still have the login problem here with the 720. We still need to address that.

1. maybe the verification code works in netfront or opera with redgear.
2. google works fine in PIE4
