911's keyboard skins are a good idea, but when mine came, it wouldn't fit my J-720 keyboard.

I bought my J in Europe and it has an English OS, but my keyboard has a set of yellow-lettered keys (a yellow alt-gr to the direct right of the space bar, for example). I dunno, but this must be a slightly modifed board and the skin wouldn't fit.

I sent it back, thinking it was defective, but the second didn't fit either, and then I figured out why.

Sandy, the owner of Image911, is a good fellow, and was very helpful throughout this process, so I would recommend business with him. I even kept my skin for the sad day when my J needs replacing.

ah, you got caught in the non-english keyboard trap. There are a couple of different versions covering the Roman alphabet

What is your device.. a F1816A ###?

Cool, English os with continental keyboard input.

I wonder if there's some way you could make an impression for image 911 so they can make a mould from it and eventually a skin?

I picked up my J in Slovenia, of all places. Salesman drove an hour to my house, we fired up the machine, and he left me a bill for it, saying vaguely that I needed to pay for it at a bank within ten days or so. Whole think done on a handshake, and there I was thinking the honor system had come and gone.

About a mould: I dunno; I'd have to make one and then SANDY would have to make one. Lot of room for error there, especially on my part Wish I could've tried a skinned 720 just to see...

both of my jornadas are ABB.. the OS is US english, contains everything in ROM, except TS client (that's very fortunate otherwise i would never have found out about HVGA rdp... ) and the keyboard is like yours with the yellow international characters. i think it's very cool. because i can remap the keyboard to hungarian easily as i have enough keys to do it.. an UK or US version don't.. and even if i don't remap it i can have access to every accented characters except two but they're the most rare ones (still not rare enough..)

All English versions of Windows are US English.

Even the British version.

One day I'm going to make an OS, and write all the event dialogues in ENGLISH. Teach the boys and girls at Redmond how to spell 'colour'!

That would be a real labour of love!
