I have 3.8 Active Sync Installed for my HPC PRO Sharp P-6000 working on XPPro Sp3

Have a new WM6 Phone that requires 4.5 Active Sync

Is there a way to set up 2 Active Sync's? 3.8 for HPC and 4.5 for WM5 on same XPpro PC?

Thought I'd ask before installing Active Sync 4.5 for phone.

THANX

Stephen

No there isn't, not without manually changing every single AS file every time you want to use one or the other - an uninstall and reinstall - they both require the same resource files, and different versions of the same resource files. If you are using Serial and not USB for it, put the AS 3.8 install in a Virtual PC image.

HUMMMmmmm...

USB not serial.

Just a thought. Log on PC as different users, with 3.8 on one and 4.5 on other, and set outlook to go to same account on exchange server? It should sync with the device that user has?

No unfortunately you would need to swap the system32 and program files folders between users. A dual boot would do it.

Oh well. SysAdmin sez dual boot a no go.

Are there any programs (CE 2.11 MIPS) that can sync files ( or just copy ) outside of ActiveSync?

No. Unless you use a CF card reader.
