Jornada 680 Battery/Power options?

I would like to conserve Battery life when the unit is not in use or in an idle state, what tips can anyone offer me please?

Disable all alarms.
Remove Wireless Cards.
Remove CF/SD cards.

That's all I can think of.... or just keep it plugged in using your AC adapter whenever not in use.

no need for removing memory cards! they consume almost nothing, especially when the machine is turned off.
i don't think wlan cards draw power either if the hpc is turned off. but still it isn't a bad idea.

anyway, you don't really need to worry about battery when the 680 is turned off...

oh if you want a continuous connection to the desktop via rdp then all you can do is turning off the display. though the 680 will do it on its own after some minutes.
