Jornada 720 Help!!

Hello all

I have finally got round to getting my Jornada 720 online. Sadly i don't understand (apart from the better technologies) why my pocket internet explorer doesn't really load many web pages. Has anyone else found it hard to get their hotmail account open? I can VIEW them i just don't get any response to the hyperlinks.

Can anyone tell me what I can do or what I'm stuck with and finally any good instant messaging software on the Jornada 720 available??

you could try opera with redgear... do a search for this

IM: again redgear gets some IM programs working. RTFM can supply details of programs he tested, i think

Last time i tried IM+ worked with redgear http://www.freeshells.ch/~wicked74/j720/images/redgear/

You could also download quakenchat irc client and connect to im.bitlbee.org which lets you chat on aim/icq/msn/yahoo/jabber etc.

Or you could install linux on it http://www.jlime.com / http://www.freeshells.ch/~wicked74/j720/linux/ and use browsers like minimo/firefox and chat clients like gaim/centerIM.
