| Yeah, that'd be a steal for two of them. Meaning $149 each, maybe? |

| I'm really meaning $149 for BOTH... not just one.
I bought them a few weeks ago for book writing.
Was very satisfied untill I received an email from my book publisher telling he does not accept .doc text files anymore.
From now on, I'm obliged to use a Windows XP special software producing strange .pxdoc files. In order to be compatible with a new fast book printing service or something like that.
So, no more Windows CE compatible for my book writing-editing. I'm not happy about that, but book publishers have always last word....
I'm selling them 45% lower price then I paid. I want a clean, honest fast selling.
I'm psychologist writing novels for teens and psychological books for adults here in Canada.
My wife tells me often that I give away things instead of trying to get a better price... I must admit she's right.
I have 129 Ebay's transactions with all buyers satisfied.
What I described, is what buyer gets... no less, no lies.
Hope this clarifies things.... |

| What a good deal. However you know you could do your writing on the device, then open it up in your desktop word program and then save it in the format you want for your publisher...

Just a thought, have you tried renaming the file extension in Explorer from .doc to .pxdoc and see if it works? Stranger things have happened!
Kind of like removing the last 'x' in .xlsx (new Excel Format ) to allow it to be opened in older Excel versions? Or manually changing the file extension of new Mobilepocket Reader books from .mobi to .prc, so they can be read in older versions? |

| Dear Denis,
The units arrived is great condition. They are now happily sucking up some energy. Thanks alot and I hope your authoring goes well. If testing goes well here, they will become authoring tools again... Although my wife was eyeing one of them, so perhaps one will go into her purse...

| Funny you should say that. When we were young grad students (with stars in our eyes, etc. ), it was a little thing for credit cards, ID, and not much more. After years of taking care of me and the kids, the purse is starting to resemble the TARDIS. Still reasonably sized, but ... how did THAT get in there... |

Hmmm... I just gave that a try, but I wasn't able to read Excel 2007 with Excel 2000. It would be nice if it were that simple! |

| Actually it's still fairly simple. All you need is a MS Office 2007 compatibility pack: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/products/HA101686761033.aspx. New formats are fairly different to the old ones that's why a simple name change doesn't help.
Cheers
