[FA:US]: NEC Mobilepro 790 with RAM upgrade

This is a Mobilepro 790 Handheld PC. It has the RAM upgrade that brings total ROM/RAM to 48MB. It is in good condition. Includes two extra battery packs and an adaptor for using regular batteries (not shown), and the AC adaptor. If you want one of the units, you will not be disappointed in this one. Comes with a 512B CF card and a PCMCIA wireless card. I will ship it with a backup file so you can restore it to its current conditions if the need arises (including some useful freeware and the wireless configuration files). Should work for you out of the box.

It is in good shape and the battery packs all hold charge well, but due to the age the item is sold as is.

And there's your answer: the OS on the 790 is newer (H/PC 2000 versus H/PC Pro), the 790 has ROM space devoted to storage - and, as in this case, the RAM on the 790 is expandable from 32 MB to 48 MB.
