I've got my friends MP900 to reflash it to CE .net. But Nec FirmwareInfo shows me that I have bootloader version "<2.1". After update.exe launch from updatekit_OS2_02_bootl_4_10 (i tried with few CF cards) i get only gray screen. I waited about 10 minutes but after reset (using battery, reset button wasn't work) I still had H/PC2000. Update directly to Cmonex v2 of course doesn't work.

Model NO on the bottom of device is MP9000.

Where's the problem?

it's ok, the <2.1 usually means it's 4.10 bootloader with hpc2000 OS...

to verify you can always use http://hpcmonex.net/nec900/files/releases/FirmwCpl_readhybridbootl.zip

usage: unpack, copy to \windows on hpc, load control panel again and check version again
