driver help??

i have a NEC mobile pro 900 with 4.2 ce on it. im trying to find a driver for either a 3cc589et 3COM lan card, or a Lucent Tech. Orinoco 11 mbit/s gold wireless card p/n: 014916/d. both websites say that win ce 4.2 is supported but the drivers offered there, and everywhere else ive looked wont work. ive even tried drivers that were for sure not for the devices and ive came closer to getting them to work then the actually drivers provided. ive given this a little over a month of trying to figure out and im at my breaking point. i need help. if anyone knows what to do, or even if someone knows that i was informed wrong on the fact that my device/ OS is even supported then please let me know, all and any help is much appreciated. happy holidays and thanks.

cmonex has a version of the driver that works:

Look for the link labeled "agere" near the bottom of the page. That version will definitely work.
