| I would say that part of the movie is influenced by steam-punk...steam powered zombies. I forgot to talk about the robots...killer crazy robots...
Also, the reason (most important to Rich ) you have to talk your wife/girlfriend into letting you watch it...scantily clad women...! |

| We watched the movie Priest the other day...I liked it. Maggie Q is awesome. It has a new (to me ) take on what vampires. I think it is based on a comic book.
In the movie humans and vampires have been at war since the beginning. Humans were looking until the "church" developed "Priests" with the ability to hunt and destroy the vampires.
It had good action, effects, acting, and a good story line. |

| Yoldering, have you ever seen a tv show called Millennium, by chance? It's technically 'sci-fi' ish, so I guess it'd fall under this thread's jurisdiction.. It's the second show by Chris Carter (also made X-Files, if you didn't know..). I really like it, and I thought of it today, so that's why I bring it up.. |

| Hmm zombie flicks... Can't say I love them, but I do enjoy some of them. Anyone likes the Resident Evil movies? I think they are quite well produced, and a more serious and sci-fi take on zombie films. Too bad they were based on a popular game franchise, which brings all the wrong expectations. By the way, Milla Jovovich is still hot after 8 years and four movies in the series. I watched the last one in 3D theatre. Will watch the next one if they make it |
