| I thought (so I'm told) that general canon has Skywalker going to the dark side and then being saved sometime after EP6? |

Exactly the way I feel. I however, like Revolution...though I think it is kinda far fetched that the world would go to hell in a handbasket in just 20-30 years without electricity. Even if there were some satellite EMP generating device circling the world, I think that anyone with any electrical knowledge could build something from scratch that could easily be shielded to generate power. I know I could as I've built some pretty complex tube type ham radios from scratch over the years.
I haven't actually watched an episode, but while EMP might take out complex electronics, I don't see how you suppress Ampere's Law ( Ampere's Law (wikipedia)) so that nothing electrical works, except of course that atoms are still made of electrons around a nucleus ... And there was some sappy bit about the daughter who'd never taste ice cream again, as if no one had ever made it with ice and rock salt. Edited by gjcoram 2012-11-04 10:49 PM

| A group of scientists were trying to create unlimited free power. The results were the opposite because it caused all electronics to stop working. They then sold the technology to the government...the mother was worried that the government would turn the technology into a weapon. The power went out...(Jump 15 years) There are a bunch of amulets that when activated will turn the power back on...there is a militia who is trying to rule the country and a small group of people who are trying to rescue people who are captives of the militia. That is what has been revealed so far. |

| Well, an EMP wouldn't stop electricity in itself, I mean that just fries sensitive electronics...but that's why they call this SCIENCE FICTION, because you have to take things as they are presented and assume they made some discovery or something...
BTW, anyone ever see the movie Hunger Games? I've just been reading the novels this week and they aren't too bad really. I was just wondering if the flick was any good? |

It was really good and a lot different, and, it had more action if you can believe it...less character development and the main kid was really annoying. All that being said it was really good. I wouldn't necessarily call it science fiction... I am still sick of all of the remakes, however, it was a choice of Red Dawn and the new Twilight movie... No choice really! | Nice.
If I didn't know better I would think the blond woman to be Dr. Elizabeth Dehner.
Anyone care to counter? |

| IMDB does not have her character...Also, I figured that the bad guy is Kahn, and IMDB has it rumored that it is Kahn... |
