This is probably old news to some, but I just tried it and discovered this. It was not mentioned on the HCD page, so I just submitted a note to add to the HCD page for this WIFI card. It supports WPA using NEC 900C with cmonex version 2 ROM.

Maybe someone with the default (CE .net 4.2) can check and see if this works for them too.

theoak, I've just been through the HCD submissions list and I have nothing from you at all on the MA401. I've checked to see that it hasn't been handled by another staff member, and it doesn't seem to be, and I have also checked that the submit system is working - and it is. :S

In the interim I've added the note myself here, but I'm intreagued as to where your submission has gone.

I finalized it, C:Amie, but then I couldn't seem to find it under "Wireless Network Cards."

Did you save the HCD changes before 'finalising'?

Because there can be 0 > n notes and drivers, the finalise doesn't deal with them for you. It performs the cleanup, ensures users are credited, that sort of thing.

To be honest, I'm not sure. How about I just add theoak's note manually myself?

EDIT: Whoops, looks like someone beat me to it.

I just used the link on the HCL page labeled: "Submit an Update or a Correction for this HCD". Near the bottom is a box labeled "Notes". It is entirely possible that I failed to click the "Submit HCD Entry" button.

Just wanted others to know this card supported WPA.
