I have a big problem and working on it for 2weeks now. I bought a GPS PNA running WinCE 5. After working OK, it does'nt recognises the Sd card (SDMMC) anymore. It is not the card itself, for 100%. I have tried a million things but activesync cannot restore my previous backups. It says "not a backup from this device". I changed nothing at the regional settings but tried many settings, nothing helps. How can I get my SD-slot back to work?
Is there something I have to ad/change at the Wince 5 registry?

| From what you describe it sounds more likely that it is the SD slot which is broken than being a software fault. A factory reset of the device would prove it. | |

I am sure it is not a hardware but a software problem, for 100%. Something at the registry or WinCe.

I cannot hard-reset the device. It does'nt have that feature.
I cannot open it aswell and the battery is not removable.
I am at about 5.000 miles from the shop were I bought it and will not return there for the next 4/5 months.
Is it possible to find the regional setting in the .stg file with f.e. Ultraedit. If yes, where and how?
