You could try imov Messenger Basic in conjunction with a public jabber server.

Your best bet is to purchase redgear then install palringo or im+ (both work for me via redgear). The other option is download quakenchat from alpaxo's website, then connect it to im.bitlbee.org and follow the instructions. Bitlbee is an irc to im gateway, similar to jabber in a way that allows use of aol, msn, yahoo, icq through an irc client.

Cheers

Both RedGear and Quackenchat are available from the Alpaxo Software website (click www on my post). Sometimes one must be creative to obtain the CAB files for Pocket PC software. Since RTFM has obviously used Palringo successfully on a Jornada, perhaps he can point to a CAB file. But if you're looking for a free solution, then RedGear won't work for you. I designed Quackenchat to work very well with a Bitlbee server, but I'm not sure if it (Bitlbee) does Gadu Gadu either.

Not currently, as of now it only supports: XMPP/Jabber (including Google Talk), MSN Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, AIM and ICQ.

Palringo supports gadu and the download link is right on their website.

http://download.palringo.com/palringo.CAB

It works with wm2003 and above, hence needing redgear. Just register on the website (its free) then install the cab.

Cheers.

Patrick, please confine your responses within a single post - particularly these multiple responses to the same post. It'll keep the forum pages tidier and easier to read.

Ok, I'll do so, better.

Actually since there was not much activities in this forum, I found after lot of months the response after hard and long googling, so I thought that I could reply myself when I got new info.
