noname chinese usb BT on sigmarion3

i bought this little thing on dealextreme.com

it works fine on PC


but when i plug it in sigmarion with installed bluesoleil, i have this three problems
1. driver still doesnt work
2. BTHUTIL.dll
3. bluesoleil cant found my BT dongle


who has experience in using usb BT on sig ?

is the sig3 not missing the USB protocol that would allow this class of device to work?

Dont think it is just a case of device driver so not sure it would be all that easy to make this work.

This protocol should have been installed with Bluesoleil.

Anton, check HKLM/Drivers/USB/. There should be BTMUSB key in ClientDrivers. There should Dll, FriendlyName, Prefix and Index values there in BTMUSB key. Dll should be set to BTMUSB.dll.

By the way, Bluesoleil is a bit old... It may not support this dongle...

As for Bluetooth Switch, that's for Widcomm BT stack, not for Bluesoleil.

Oh cool. I had been under the impression the driver required for usb to support this typer of devive not the device driver but the usb support that sits between the device driver and device.

i fixed all errors, but now when i plug BT and turning on from icon tray, i saw just sand clock and offer to manual settings =(

Could it work with Nec 900c usb port?

Anton, i guess this dongle won't work... Clock may appear because Bluesoleil fails to initialize USB BT... That means USB BT is discovered and defined as a dongle, but Bluesoleil fails to use it... We could search for updated drivers, but they should be IVT's ones... Don't think they have updated them.
