I have the source code to a pocketpc program that I would like to try and modify to fit the HPC screen. The program runs flawlessly other than the screen fit.

The source files have extensions like .CS and .DAT

There are also .PROJDATA and .RESOURCES files

And there are .RESX files.

What is this application developed with? What is a .CSDPROJ file?

I'm thinking I bit off more than I can chew here....Rich

That's a C# (CSharp) language project, or .NET Framework. You need Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 or 2008 (full versions) and some plugin for SmartDevice programming (can't remember what).

He (author) mentions in file you need .NET Framework...

I have complete MS Visual Studio 6...will have to check to see if there are plugins for it...

Thanks....Rich

For Compact Framework projects (VB or C#), you need VS 2003 or newer.

Crap...anyone feel like modding a NET CF application to fit on a standard HPC screen?

The program is called Wordle. It is basically a Boggle clone. You get a 4x4 or 5x5 grid of letters and move from one letter to the next to see how many words you can make. Works very well, and I can use it with Winwatch, but don't like to scroll.

BTW, the zip file I have includes versions for ARM, MIPS, SH3, SH4, and x86 processors. The author gave me access to the file which contains the ppc builds and the source files and permission to do with it what I want to make it fit. It is already in the PD.
