The big number across the top was on the Edge wrapper on the outside of the package.
The last numbers were stamped on the memory chips themselves on the DIMM

What I see on the chips themselves appears to be a completely different set of letters and digits. I'm not convinced this is the same one as yours.

Nor do the numbers on the package match:

CMQNB00032M101859
barcode #: 52977 15163

- and the label on the package also says "32MB PC - 100 NonECC Unbuff." Shoulda noticed that even though I saw the label on the DIMM through the clear plastic package clearly indicating 64 MB.

I checked the invoice sheet, and it shows the same item number that you give (O134SU064MN110808) - but, as I noted above, that's not the number on the package the module came in.

On each of the eight chips themselves: 484CL4M16A2
TG -75 C

Google the part number of the chips and then you can usually figure out the capacity

Nothing comes up when I search the 11-digit number in my previous post.

Dead end. Edge tech support insists they've sent me the correct module. If it's the same one, why would only half the memory show up on my Aero when the full 64 MB shows up on DarkKnight's Aero? (Humorous side note: hoping to have better luck elsewhere, I ordered another 64 MB module from a different vendor. [Small gamble at only $9.] I just got it a few days ago, and the sticker on it says it's from - you guessed it - Edge Technologies.)

CMQNB00032M101859 vs 03144SU064MN110808.

I'm aware of that, cmonex. I already pointed that out to Edge tech support, but they say it was probably just mispackaged. (But, of course, there's no way they sent the wrong module this time around too. ) All I can say is, don't order from Edge Tech if you want to be sure that you're getting the correct product.

I ordered another 64 MB RAM module through another vendor, thinking it would be a different one since the picture on the Web page for the module showed a PQI RAM module. (Less than $8 before shipping, so a small risk.) So it came today, and when I opened it, there was another Edge RAM module. My fiirst thought was, Wonderful, here we go again. But I figured there was no harm in trying it out, so I put it in - and 64 MB total RAM showed in Control Panel -> System.

Checking the number on the chips, I see that one character differs between this one and the other one. I'm going to contact Edge and ask them to explain how someone else can locate the correct Edge module when Edge itself can't. Maybe, just maybe, they'll be embarrassed enough to give me my money back for the one they sent me.

Well, that's interesting. The Edge support person with whom I had been corresponding on this issue is no longer with the company, according to the automated response I got this time. It says someone else will get back to me as soon as possible. Yeah, right.
