Could be wrong but seem to remember you can set it up to only download so much or just header of each message and only new messages or messages within last number of days.

The default browser of the Jornada is IE4. It cannot be upgraded. It is very old technology, from HTML to CSS to SSL. That is why many want to run a newer browser. Is it not enough that it works with Opera? If you are concerned with it costing money, then maybe you will look forward to a free browser like Iris Browser working with the next version of RedGear.

Webby might be another free option if Stefanov over at CodePlex decides to work on a .NET CF 2.0 port for CE 2.xx/3.xx:

Not very good idea... Webby uses native HTML-control... So on Jornada it will be that damned IE 4 with tab&gesture support and something else.

Skweezer is sometimes difficult to load (I imagine they get a lot of hits). Other than mdog, is there another alternative?
