You will be disappointed with Iris Browser on the Jornada at this point (it won't run). As I stated, it will run "with the next version of RedGear."

Is there a problem with entering your information? One must enter details and also payment to register Opera (or RedGear).

Opera Mini requires Java virtual machine MIDP 1.
http://www.opera.com/mini/download/generic/generic_basic_midp_1/
May be it will run on the built in Chai's JVM.

Isn't there a gmail option, like putting :recent after your username when logging in?

I dont think that could work...
well ... no gmail, no emails, that's not cool to have a jornada hot-spots, anywhere, without emails

No it wont. It's just an IE4 enhancement that gives you the ability to have tabbed browser windows. It's still IE4.

RedGear, which you constantly maligned, was one of the only hopes to have a decent browser for Windows CE 3.0. Now, I think your only alternatives are Linux, if Opera Mobile 8.65 doesn't work for you. As for Opera Mini, if you get it working using an illegal Java VM, it will load m.gmail.com, just like Opera Mobile does.

Dunno why you're not just using npopuk to receive/send gmail.
