Netfront 3.3 works fine with gmail, albeit a little slow. Although, I believe you need the full version to enable javascript?

NetFront 3.3 is no longer sold, and discussion about ways to illegally obtain or modify it is under a cease and desist order:

out of luck, maybe some linux tar.gz could help to make newer softwares working for HPC 2000 ?

here from a site, it seems that the basic gmail could be used:
——————————————————————————–
Email

GMAIL connection
Gmail basic html page: http://mail.google.com/mail/h/1mcchciggn5ts/?f=1
nPop working with Gmail, with the SSL file in the nPop folder

I think it was mentioned earlier that you could use QMail and IMAP to access your gmail. Maybe nPop works too, although it doesn't do IMAP, only POP3.

I used to use nPOPuk to access my GMail account on my Jornada 820. It was a nuisance to find those SSL DLLs -- I think I found them originally on the qmail3 web site. Though qmail3 stopped supporting HPC Pro, I think you can use the OpenSSL DLLs for ARM-based Pocket PCs on the Jornada.

I was able to compile an older version of OpenSSL for WinCE211, but I can't get 1.0.0 beta 2 to compile. On my to-do list is to figure out if I can pull out the "exportable" code from OpenSSL and build that directly into nPOPuk.
