| Hi,
anyone out there having java running on HPC2000? Would be interesting to see if the "new" Bolt Browser is working ...
Quote BOLT can be installed on nearly all Java-based handsets since the browser requires only Java MIDP 2 and CLDC 1.0 or higher support.

| There's a Java VM in ROM in the Jornada 720/728, but I don't know if it'll support that browser. Do you have a download link for Bolt? |

| I wouldn't get my hopes up, though - I suspect it needs a much newer and more sophisticated Java VM than the Chai VM that's on the Jornada. |

|
| on my (german) Jornada 720 there is no ChaiVM available. I thought of someone who has the IBM j9 thing installed ... |

| I have chaivm update in a CAB, probably would work on german rom.
but it won't run bolt for sure.
ibm's stuff is the best you can get on a jornada for that, though tfgbd says there is a newer jvm for wm2003, that runs on cenet too. I forget the name of it, I'll ask him again. maybe with redgear it would work on jornada. |

no, not jeode, though I have a copy of jeode that works fine. not mysaifu. don't remember if jbed or something else.
but I was talking about j2me jvm's now that have a chance to run this bolt browser. Edited by cmonex 2009-03-14 10:47 AM
