After getting Autoroute 2005 from a shop that sells all sorts of junk for a pound

if you insall it via the exe a compatibility error pops up

Installation Steps

1. Copy cab file from the Active sync folder to the jornada
2. Launch the cab file & ignore any compatibility warnings
3. Downlaod the Arm dlls package from http://hpcmonex.net/izemize.htm
4. copy the aygshell.dll (22.0KB 22528 bytes) to the Pocket streets install dir

If this common knowledge , sorry it was new to me

Yeah, we've had others report success with Pocket Streets 2005 with other devices as well. At least one has even had success with PS 2006 with GPS support. (I have installed PS 2005 successfully on my H/PC 2000 PenCentra 200, but I haven't tested it with GPS support as it's missing part of my local area in the available maps, and I've since tracked down Pharos Ostia 5.1, which has a MIPS version. I believe that more than one user here has also successfully gotten Ostia 6, which only has an ARM version, working on the 720/728.)

The problem with PS is it has no real-time routing capability and voice prompt. In this sense, MS is way behind any professional GPS companies. On the other hand, MS Streets and Trips has that capability. I had used it on an XP laptop for a while before I got my Dell x51v for GPS use.
