I got a wifi card that worked the way I need:

~~~Cisco Aironet 350 Series Wireless LAN Adapter - Model - AIR-PCM350~~~
I did not have to install anything, I just plugged this card on the Psion NetBook Pro, and voila, it identified the nearby Wifi hotspot network right away, I ran IE and was online.
I have no sync cable, and no time or money for trial and errors, so I'm looking for this kind of serviceable experience (no install needed) for the following hardware types if possible:
__LAN card
__BT card
__GPS card
Please list what hardware you know works without install, simply using drivers already BUILT-IN on the Psion NetBook Pro? Thanks everyone for much needed help
Well as far as LAN goes, any NE2000-compatible card will work for sure and there may possibly be built-in drivers for several specific makes/models of LAN cards as well.
Don't forget to vote for hardware successes/failures in the HCL, that way we can build a picture of what hardware works on what device (or doesn't). Just go into the detail view and use the vote feature for each device.
BT: best: socketcom CF BT or SDIO BT (I think it has builtin driver for both but there's an installable one too - may be newer version)
GPS: BT GPS after you got the socketcom BT (though I didn't try this)
but any CF GPS will work (standard interface)
LAN: 10mbps ne2000 will all work, some 10/100 too, and some non-ne2000, socketcom has LPE 10mbps and has a 10/100 too. (their 10/100 may need a driver, the others work out of the box)
Thanks for all answers, which I'll pursue on. Unfortunately I had to leave the Psion endeavour for a while.
My most immediate need was for a LAn card.
Thanks Rich Hawley & Cmonex for tips that a 10mbps Socket LAN LP-E card will work when you plug it in without having to install new drivers, that's exactly what I'm looking for! But Socket has made several LAN LP-E cards. Please specify the model# and/or will both Cf and PCMCIA models work natively the NBP.
I would be most interested in these: "LAN: 10mbps ne2000 will all work, some 10/100 too" -- please give a list of actual brands/models of 100mbps LAN cards that will work simply when you plug them in the NBP?
