Jornada 720 smart card reader

Hi,
I'd like to know which are applications that can use the smartcard reader embedded in the Jornada 720 o moreover how can it be useful.

The short answer is that it isn't of much benefit. The reder only supports a very small number of smart card chips, chips which are now nearly impossible to come by and very much legacy. As HP never fully implemented their driver/software suite for the reader, untimately without low level development (and no one has ever taken up the challenge) it is just useless.
