Hi,
My friend has an old sony cd PCMCIA card, a IC-DM155. It plus into the PCMCIA slot, then a cable goes from the end to the protable cd drive. Is it possible to use one of these with a jornada 680e? I have googled and searched this site, and the closest I've come is an adaptec one.

Is it a SCSI CD-ROM drive? I doubt you'll get the Sony PCMCIA card to work with your device, but there are drivers for the Adaptec 1460 series PCMCIA SCSI adapters. I have used a Panasonic KX-L745 portable CD-ROM that works with the Adaptec PCMCIA adapter I own. There are no drivers for the Panasonic PCMCIA card that came with it though. (Which is too bad - the Panasonic card has a SCSI interface and a Yamaha OLP3 sound chip built in to a single card. It would be nice to have a real sound card for my MP780. )
