| strange. did you try without wep too? if it works without wep then you can check open vs shared wep mode, that could be a problem. some drivers can't do open, just shared keys, and if your router is set to open, it'll fail to connect

| It now works. I did delete my SSID from the preferred list and added it as a new connection. I played around about the setting. From Intersil's interface, I can enter WEP keys but not passphrase (because the edit box and other buttons below the radio button 'Passphrase' is not visible in CE .NET 4.2). In contrast, from Windows' interface, I have to enter the keys as there is no option for 'Passphrase' as this is similar in WinXP. BTW, at some point before this working condition, Intersil's icon disappeared from the taskbar. Previously, I had the icon and Windows' connection icon as well on the taskbar. It's evident that CE .NET 4.2 includes Zero Configuration functionality that is a feature since WinXP. | |
