Remote desltop/client

Does anyone have a how to guide for how to connect to a windows xp desktop from a windows ce 4.2 device? i want to use the 4.2 device as a screen and input device (keyboard and mouse). i'm tring to control my media pc with it. the media pc has nothing plugged into it power a power cable, network cord, and a rca out cable for audio to my receiver. any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need XP Pro, Tablet PC Edition or MCE.
Control Panel > System > Remote > Allow users to remotely connect to this computer
If you want non administrators to be able to connect hit the 'select remote users' button and add them in

All you should now need to to is head to the H/PC - on a working network - and type in the network address of the XP system into the address box.

by network address do you mean the ip?

also i think that windows fundimentals will work along with the three you listed

IP or the netbios name.
