| I am new when it comes to this windows mobile devices. I just bought a NEC MobilePro 900 running Windows CE 3.0 and there is a rom upgrade available on this site so i can update it to CE.net 4.2. How do i install the upgrade to the device. It would be nice if someone could write me a short guide or link me to another web page that gives instructions. I really want to upgrade this device. |

| Download the upgrade...the instructions are contained on it...
Basically you put everything on a CF memory card and run a single program....and wait for 10 minutes. That's it. |

| Clearly you haven't looked where I described in my previous post. The bootloader and firmware information are there in plain view. Edited by CE Geek 2009-06-29 1:35 AM

| CE.NET is far superior in every way to CE3 in my opinion. However, I acknowledge that there is a learning curve involved in adopting a new operating system that might be beyond the skill sets of some, and for those it is best they stick to what is familiar to them.
Luckily, just as you can upgrade to CE.NET on the Mobilepro, you can also downgrade to HPC 2000. |
