My CF Cardslot stopped working a little while back, and it seems that the problem could be the drivers. Are there driver downloads for that? If so, could someone redirect me to them? Thanks!

No, it uses rom drivers and the kernel.

Backup, hard reset test it. If it fails to work after a hard reset then you can restore in the knowledge that its hardware related. Otherwise it could be ram corruption.

I did my best to "hard reset" it to my knowledge. I left the battery out for like 10 minutes. It always asks me if I want to erase whats in the current ram. So I just said yes. after that, still no luck. Well, there is a removeable chip in the Jornada that seems to be a rom chip. Could it be posible to replace that to change the OS or restore it? I think if you put in a chip from the Jornada 720 it *could* work. Thats just my theory on it.

Did you remove the backup coin cell as well as the main battery?

You cannot swap over a ROM chip like that - they're proprietary.

I would lean on a hardware fault here.
