| Hi guys i have a NEC MobilePro 900 and i have also bought a SOHO Ethernet Card and it fits perfectly fine into the PCI reader but i cant get my Ethernet working. I put the card into the MobilePro 900 and then plugged the black cord into the card and then my Ethernet cord into the black cord.
Here what the card looks like but it not the same one but still gives you a good idea

| Cardbus (32bit) card can't be used as it only accepts 16bit one (PCMCIA).

| It is a 16Bit ethernet card. Not 32 bit. |

| The pic you showed is a 32bit one. If it's a 16bit one, then you just need the right driver (here or web). |

| Gee, Half-Saint, are you suggesting that because there's a SOHO Ethernet card listed there? |

| Bubzie5, does the card ask you for a name when you insert it into the Mobilepro? If so, then you need a driver like everyone is inferring, and it is probably listed in the HCL on this website, just awaiting your download.... |

| scroll down and look at NE2000.dll on the website above what does that mean. Maybe it has to be configured. |

| That's an Ethernet driver file that's already included in ROM in the 900. |

| Bubzie, you never answered my question...when you insert the card into the Mobilepro, does it prompt you to enter a name for the driver?
If it doesn't, then that means it probably recognizes the NE2000 driver and should work.
If it does, then that means it is searching for a driver to make it run and it won't until you install one.
If it doesn't, and it doesn't work, then you may simply have a bad card. Have you tested it in a laptop or other device?
Also, what is the exact model or device id printed on the card? If it is the ND5120 as listed in the HCL, you can download the latest firmware here: http://www.sohoware.com/span/new_sohoware/newfiles/consumerpages/downloadcenter.htm
