I would like to buy a SD Memory Card for my Netbook Pro mainly to release the CF Slot. Can anyone recommend any particular brand that they have had success with.

Any brand is ok.
As long as the SD card is not SDHC, the SD card will be recognized.
I use Sandisk and Transcend SD cards; 256MB, 512MB, 1GB and 2GB cards without problems.
My bumper 16GB and 32GB SDHC cards don't work with netBook Pro.

I was kinda thinking it may be more informative to mention which brands to avoid. (I've been using mostly SanDisk SD and SDHC cards, and I've had nothing but good experience with those. )
