Package Type

Hello,
I'm a Ubuntu user, but recently i've installed JliMe in my Jornada 720 and i want to know what is the package type used on it(like rpm and deb, but those two don't function, i tested the commands and they aren't installed) and where i can find some softwares for it?

As for your question jlime uses .ipk (stripped/lighter version of .deb basically) and the software is also found on jlime's website. It's also linked in the userland ( use ipkg install application-name ). You may have to edit /etc/ipkg.conf to reflect the changes made to the location of the package feeds since they've revamped the website after i uploaded Mongo. The software for j7xx/mp900c is here: http://repository.jlime.com/hp7xx/mongo/feed/

The 3Com XJACK cards are great in the Jornada, especially in Linux, since they have full support. The wireless card supports WPA, for example. I don't sell them anymore, but perhaps you can find one cheaply on eBay that will ship to Brazil. Note that if you're interested in deb, you may want to try "720degrees" Linux (basically Debian ARM). I don't know how easy it is to find the userland anymore, however.
