Looking for repair on my MP780

Some time ago I dropped my trusty MP780 and the screen stopped working, the unit itself works, I can hear the clicks and beeps. Someone mentioned that the video cable may have come loose and offered to try fixing it. I never got around to sending it along to whoever that was, but having just sold my Jornada, iPaq and Palm in a household sale (I'm moving soon), I thought I'd see if that kind person was still around and still interesting in taking a look at the 780 for me.
