Hmmm, check that you have the following DLLs in your \Windows directory: IMGDECMP.DLL, COMMCTRL.DLL, AYGSHELL.DLL. Those are really the only ones you might be missing.
You may also want to run executabilitycheck on imov.exe and/or any of the DLLs it installs to see what specifically is missing. You can download that utility from cmonex's website here. Edited by mscdex 2010-02-18 5:14 AM

| im missing the first two, it has aygshell and i have several hacked aygshell's from hpcmonex.net (i was able to get paint and minesweeper running with those though, go figure) if somone could provide me with IMGDECMP.DLL and COMMCTRL.DLL it would benefit me greatly (or is there a way i can copy them from my wm2003 pocket pc?) |

|
|
| nevermind, found the ce.net dll's package on the site (durh) |

|
| I still cant get imov to connect, it actually runs now, but it refuses to connect to the server. |

| I give up, i am gonna sell this thing, im tired of the software i need/want not working, i just nabbed a mobilepro 900 off of ebay, china can have their crappy windows ce netbook's back as far as im concerned. |

| These netbooks are not for the faint-of-heart, that's for sure. I'm on my second linux machine. The first one inexplicably lost its touchpad, wifi, and two usb ports. But RFTM's 3mx-Ultra Linux OS makes them so much fun that I had to buy another one.
So it's the hardware that worries me as the Linux version, while suffering its own dilemmas, has great promise and seemingly more workarounds. Though I envy you CE version folks who get to use Textmaker... And I can understand why some users would throw in the towel.

| Sounds like the Jabber server that iMov was pre-setup with doesn't exist anymore. There's a list of available Jabber servers here. However, they don't seem to list which services each server provides anymore though. |

| I had set up imov to use the same server i use on my pocket pc |

Hmmm, I'll give iMov a try on my SmartQ and see what I can find out then. |

| heh, allright then, ive already ordered a mobilepro 900, a new battery, and a cisco aironet 350, the last mobilepro i had was a 880, it will be interesting to have one with a 400 mhz arm processor in it, espically considering the 900 has VGA out and usb 2.0 host. |
